Looong time since the last post. Let’s just say that website editing in this part of the world has been a frustrating challenge and I will be doing it less often. This vacation is not about stress — it’s about sailing to exotic places and meeting interesting people from foreign lands…and drinking in their ports.
Enough whining.

Saw these lovely grain silos sailing out of São Paulo, Brazil.

The highlight of Rio Grande, Brazil was this young man wailing on his guitar.

Can you spot the American in this photo?

We ate — and drank — well in this indoor market in Montevideo. My Spanish apparently sucks even more than I thought based on the confused looks on almost everyone’s face whenever I ask for something more complicated than “mas cerveza?” in Uruguay. But I can do pretty well with mas cerveza.

Pedestrian street in Montevideo. It’s summer!!!

Isn’t she lovely? Yes. Yes she is.

Sunday market in Montevideo. Beautiful fruit and veg….and 10 feet to the left…the garlic vendor. Ha!

Parked next to our boat in Montevideo. Should we be concerned?

Sailing away from Buenos Aires last night.
Until next time….CHEERS!!!
